Javanese batik cloth has a strong symbolic meaning. According to the Indonesian tradition, each batik cloth represents the craftsman style which is special and complex. It is designed not only based on the fabrics, but also the meaning that has been deeply engraved in the mind and soul.

In the Kraton, or the Javanese courts, batik cloth is a “high arts” learnt by civilized Javanese gentlemen. Batik cloth, along with music and dance, means developing the spirit of discipline. Batik cloth is resulted from the design using textile dyeing resistance. Resistance is usually made of wax (but other materials such as rice paste can also be used) in order to prevent fabric dyes broken in the coverage area that can create the negative pattern. Another thing is the increasing in wax decorative design or keeping the original color of dye bath area. Fabric is colored using dye bath and then, does the second immersion.

The coloring processes are repeated a certain number of times to get the color of dyes that are wanted. The production of a high-quality piece of batik cloth fabrics requires a high degree of skill and spends time.

Indonesia is one of the largest archipelagic country in the world.

The third destination is to peak Bromo. Top of Bromo is located in East Java.  Bromo have two very interesting place, namely Penanjakan and Mount Bromo itself. In Penanjakan we can see the sunrise from the top of the mountain. While at Mount Bromo itself, we can see the volcano crater from close range. On the way to Penanjakan you will experience a journey that will not be forgotten, especially if done at night.
The fourth destination is the Beach Baron. Can travel about 45 minutes from the city of Yogyakarta. From Semarang is the provincial capital of Central Java can take approximately 3 hours. Eat, Pray, Love : Film Yang di Produksi di Indonesia

Elizabeth bertemu Felipe (Javier Bardem), pria asal Brazil yang mencuri hatinya. Asal tahu saja, adegan pertemuan Elizabeth dan Felipe ini adalah adegan yang paling berkesan bagi Julia Roberts. Berkesan karena adegan ini nyaris membuatnya terluka. Lho, kok, bisa?

Dalam adegan itu diceritakan Elizabeth tengah mengendarai sepeda di sebuah jalan di Bali, ketika berpapasan dengan Felipe yang mengendarai mobil. “Dalam kehidupan nyata, Javier tak bisa mengemudikan mobil. Jadi, saat aku berbalik untuk mengayuh sepeda, Javier juga memutar balik mobilnya. Dan mobil itu nyaris menabrakku. Aku segera melompat dari sepeda ke rerumputan. Kurasa ia hampir membunuhku,” cerita Julia berapi-api.

Cerita lain, kabarnya karena bergitu terkesan dengan kehidupan umat Hindu di Bali dan India, Julia Roberts dan keluarganya lantas masuk agama Hindu setelah syuting berakhir.

Sebuah Memoar

Film yang dibintangi Julia Roberts ini diangkat dari sebuah novel bestseller  berjudul sama karangan Elizabeth Gilbert. Novel setebal 352 halaman ini memecahkan rekor dengan berada di daftar New York Times Best Seller  selama 158 minggu. Colombia Pictures pun kepincut untuk membuat versi layar lebarnya.

Agustus 2009, syuting dimulai. Sesuai isi bukunya, gambar diambil ke seluruh tempat yang disambangi Elizabeth. Naples (Italia), Pataudi (India) hingga Bali (Indonesia). Selain Julia Roberts, EPL juga dibintangi aktor Javier Bardem, James Franco dan Billy Crudup. Film yang dijadwalkan rilis pada 13 Agustus 2010 ini disutradarai Ryan Murphy dan digarap oleh rumah produksi Plan B Entertainment milik Brad Pitt.

Dengan budget  sebesar 60 juta dolar Amerika, EPL telah menghasilkan keuntungan sebanyak 26 juta dolar Amerika di minggu pertamanya saat rilis di Amerika. Nilai ini sekaligus yang tertinggi bagi Julia Roberts bila dibandingkan film-film lainnya lain. Rekor ini mengalahkan film lawasnya, America’s Sweetheart  (2001).

Emma Watson, Artis Muda Dengan Penghasilan Tertinggi !

Aktris muda berusia 19 tahun yang namanya melejit karena membintangi film Harry Potter, Emma Watson, mencatat rekor dunia sebagai aktris muda dengan penghasilan tertinggi oleh Guinness Book of World Records beberapa waktu lalu.

Siapa sangka, aktris muda yang memulai karirnya dengan berperan sebagai Hermione Granger dalam film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone akhirnya terpilih dan menjadi aktris muda satu-satunya dengan penghasilan tertinggi di dunia. Rekor itu berhasil dicapai Emma Watson dalam usia yang terbilang masih sangat muda. Sungguh sebuah prestasi yang sangat gemilang.

Emma mengaku kaget sekaligus bangga bisa mencatat rekor dunia sebagai aktris muda dengan penghasilan tertinggi. Emma tercatat berhasil mengumpulkan pendapatan kotor sekitar 5,4 milliar dollar dari lima sekuel film-film Harry Potter yang telah diproduksi.

Sedangkan penulis yang juga sebagai pencipta karakter Harry Potter, JK Rowling mencatat rekor sebagai penulis kisah anak dengan pendapatan tertinggi di dunia.

Sepertinya, aktris muda Hollywood lainnya pun akan sulit mengejar rekor yang telah dicatat oleh Emma Watson. Karena kabarnya, Emma juga akan bermain dalam dua sekuel terakhir Harry Potter yang akan ditayangkan pada 2010 dan 2012 mendatang.
